The Blancpain x Swatch Scuba Fifty Fathoms Ocean of Storms is inspired by Blancpain’s original Fifty Fathoms diver’s watch and presents a modern interpretation through contemporary materials and design. The watch features a black Bioceramic case and crown, paired with a black sunbrushed dial that includes a date display positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock. The overall design reflects a functional diving watch aesthetic while maintaining a clean and distinctive appearance.

This model is powered by the SISTEM51 mechanical movement, visible through a transparent sapphire glass caseback. The movement is decorated with a printed illustration inspired by the Oceanus Procellarum region of the moon and the Okenia Luna nudibranch. The unidirectional rotating bezel is made from black Bioceramic, and the biosourced glass is treated with an anti-scratch coating for everyday durability.

For improved legibility in low-light conditions, the hour markers, hands, and bezel scale are treated with Grade A Super-LumiNova. The watch is fitted with a NATO-style strap made from recycled fishing nets, with Bioceramic pin buckle and loops. This timepiece combines mechanical watchmaking with modern sustainable materials and distinctive visual details.
