The Sony Mocopi Motion Capture System (QM‑SS1 Kit) is a portable full-body motion capture solution designed for creators, animators, VTubers, and game developers. Using 12 compact motion sensors, this system captures accurate body movement and transfers it directly to a PC for real-time animation and content creation.
The kit includes everything needed to start capturing motion:

With direct data transfer to a PC application, mocopi allows you to instantly use motion data in animation software, game engines, and virtual production tools.
The system uses 12 sensors placed around the body to improve motion capture accuracy. This setup provides more detailed and realistic body tracking compared to standard six-sensor configurations.
For improved accuracy, mocopi can pair with a compatible external camera, enhancing tracking performance when using fewer sensors and enabling more precise movement detection.
The system includes offline grounding refinement technology that analyzes recorded motion and automatically corrects foot grounding issues, reducing foot sliding or floating during animations.
